Mt. Hood Forest Products, LLC was acquired in 2001 and during 2004 and 2005 the mill was updated and re-tooled to become a state of the art producer of high quality green douglas fir 2X4 and 2X6 dimension lumber. Today Mt. Hood produces over 150 million bd. ft. annually on a multiple shift basis.

Rick began his career with Calendar Pine in 1986 and has been with IFG since 1997. He currenlty serves as IFG Quality Manager of Southern Mills. In 2014 Rick received the WWPA Master Lumberman Award. With over 30 years in the industry, Rick has become a teacher and role model within the entire IFG organization.
Mr. Northrup has served as a longtime member of the WWPA Quality Standards Committee. His knowledge and leadership abilities will be a great asset to WWPA.
Two lumber mills have joined WWPA. High Cascade Forest, LLC is headquartered in Carson, WA, which lies approx. 40 miles east of Portland, OR, in the middle of the Columbia River Gorge.
Mt. Hood Forest Products, LLC was acquired in 2001 and during 2004 and 2005 the mill was updated and re-tooled to become a state of the art producer of high quality green douglas fir 2X4 and 2X6 dimension lumber. Today Mt. Hood produces over 150 million bd. ft. annually on a multiple shift basis.
